I MUST say that this movie is wonderful. I believe that many, MANY more people should see this movie and Rasta, I want you to know that you probably didn’t give this movie a chance or you didn’t see the dark humor in it. Maybe it freaked you out because your in the 5th grade. Well, good tidings. I think I’m going to get some milk :).

Stanley Kubrick is the master of cinematography. He goes where no other film-maker dares to go, and forces the viewer to question their own humanity and the meaning of humanity in the first place. “A Clockwork Orange” is the darkest of his films, and yet is still able to keep up a sick (but nonetheless amusing) sense of humor, making it entertaining, philosophical, beautiful, and disturbing.
Rasta, I suggest that you learn to recognize true art before making foolish comments…

honestly, i didnt think it was that great. everyone has thier own tastes and opinion but… i failed to see the greatness of it. i just didnt feel that the message it got across called for all the sex, violence, and nudity that was there. i can appreciate the art in it and i really did. i love movies and things in general that are just really odd and random. but some parts i felt were just unnecessary
but like i said before, everyone has their own tastes and opinions.

the only pleasure in this is perverse, or derived from some smug sense of divining meaning and mutual understanding.

I must say, the book is MUCH better. In the movie they make everyone look like crazy sex addicts. And the movie is missing some major key concepts that the book made a point of, such as WHY the movie is called A Clockwork Orange. I HIGHLY recommend the book, especially the book that includes the 21st chapter.
